Friday Drama Round Up #73

Ninja's Friday Drama Round Up #73
The Classics of Mountains and Seas (Chinese Drama, New)
Zhang Han and his girlfriend Guli Nasha's new fantasy drama. I checked out the first five episodes and while the plot is kinda predicable I do find it to be an easy watch.

Ms. Temper and Nam Jung Gi (Korean Drama, New)
Lee Yo Won and Yoon Sang Hyun's new drama about two extremely different people who simply can't stand each other but of course fate seems determined to throw them together no matter what.

Episode 1-2 First Impression: HERE
Refresh Man (Taiwanese Drama)
I am happy to report that this one is getting quite good. If the two leads' can keep up the awesome chemistry they had in episode three, then I think this one could get addicting.
Happy Home (Korean Drama)
Thanks to the two great leads, I am enjoy this one a lot. There are definitely some annoying secondary characters BUT they are one of those side plots that make you so angry that you want to curse at the screen while wanting to know desperately want happens next.
Seirei no Moribito (Japanese Drama, New)
Based on the manga of the same name, Haruka Ayasa plays a female warrior that is tasked with the impossible job of keeping a prince safe.

This one probably won't have much romance in it but Seirei no Moribito might just be a cool enough show that it won't need romance to keep my attention.
Click Your Heart (Korean Short Drama, New)
A high school romance, Click Your Heart follows the difficult choice an outcast girl has to make when several popular boys fall for her.

Only seven episodes long, the story obviously moves at a pretty quick pace BUT since I really don't care for the "every boy the heroine meets fall for her" sort of plot I only made it about two episodes.
Marriage Contract (Korean Drama)
This show is one of Mama Ninja's favorite right now. I personally thought episode 1-4 were kinda slow. However, I really enjoyed the last two episode (5-6) once we start seeing signs of some emotional engagement from the hero (Lee Seo Jin).

Ninja's Goodies but Oldies
 Surgeon Bong (2007, 18 Episodes)
I will be completely honest that I really don't remember much about this show since it has been so long since I watched it. What I do remember is that Lee Beom Soo's hero was really captivating in this one and Lee Yo Won's heroine was also a young doctor that one can't help but cheer for.
Granted, medical drama is really kinda of hit or miss sort of thing so I can't promise that a show filmed back in 2007 will be up to par now. Still, if memory serves me right, this was one of the few medical shows I watched from beginning to end so I am hoping it might stand up to the test of time.
Synopsis: Sickly throughout her childhood due to a heart condition, our heroine Bong Dal Hee is determined to become a surgeon despite the many obstacles life has thrown her way. Disliked by Ahn Joong Geun, the brilliant surgeon thanks to the series of mistakes she has made, Dal Hee finds her time as a first year resident increasingly difficult. Pushing on even though her fellow residents and mentors call her the troublemaker, Dal Hee refuses to give up her dream...even if her health starts to fail again.
